Free Shipping

Decor Outdoor offers free regular shipping on all orders shipped to residential or commercial addresses within the contiguous United States. Orders are delivered Monday through Friday (excluding holidays).

Drop Shipping

We are an online-only luxury furniture and lighting boutique, and do not have a warehouse. Consequently, all orders are drop shipped directly from our manufacturers to your door. If your order includes items from more than one manufacturer, you will receive multiple deliveries. Because we are dependent on the on-hand inventory of our manufacturing partners, some items listed on our site may not actually be available right away. Please call us at 888.784.4644 or via our contact form with any stocking questions and we'll get in touch with the appropriate manufacturer for answers, before you place your order.

Ground Shipping

Small parcel items ship regular ground via delivery services such as FedEx, UPS or DHL. Orders typically take 2-3 business days to process and in-stock items will usually be delivered 3-5 days from the date that they ship (depending on origin and destination). If there is a delay, you will be notified by email. No signature is required for standard ground shipping, so you may want to make arrangements to have packages brought inside soon after delivery, if you are unable to receive it in person.

Custom Black Green Polo Shirt With Custom Design

Whether you’re looking to create uniforms for your team, promote your business, or design something for a special event, custom polo shirts offer a versatile and classy option. This guide will help you understand how to design, choose the right materials, and select the best printing methods for your custom polo shirts.

Why Choose a Custom Polo Shirt?

Polo shirts are a popular choice for both casual and formal wear, offering a polished yet comfortable look. Customizing a polo shirt gives you the freedom to showcase your brand, event, or personal style while maintaining the timeless appeal of this classic garment. Polo shirts work well for a variety of purposes, from corporate settings to promotional events, and even sports teams.

Key Benefits:

  • Professional Appearance: Polo shirts maintain a refined and professional look while allowing room for creative custom designs.
  • Brand Representation: Perfect for businesses looking to promote their brand through employee uniforms or merchandise.
  • Event Wear: Custom polo shirts are ideal for company outings, team-building events, or charity fundraisers.
  • Versatility: Suitable for different occasions, ranging from casual settings to semi-formal environments.

1. Select the Polo Shirt Style

Polo shirts come in various styles, and choosing the right one will depend on the occasion and the audience. Consider the following options:

  • Standard Polo Shirt: The classic style with a traditional collar and buttons, suitable for most occasions.
  • Performance Polo Shirt: Designed with moisture-wicking materials, these are great for sports teams or active events.
  • Slim-Fit Polo Shirt: Offers a more tailored look, perfect for modern, fashion-forward designs.
  • Long-Sleeve Polo Shirt: Ideal for cooler weather or a more formal look.

2. Choose the Right Fabric

The fabric of your custom polo shirt plays a key role in both comfort and durability. Choosing the right material is essential for ensuring that your shirt is comfortable and lasts for a long time.

  • Cotton: Breathable and soft, cotton polo shirts are great for everyday wear and are comfortable in warmer weather.
  • Polyester: Known for its durability and moisture-wicking properties, polyester is ideal for activewear and sports teams.
  • Cotton-Poly Blend: A combination of cotton and polyester for a balance of comfort and durability.
  • Pique Fabric: A textured weave often used in polo shirts, offering a professional and slightly heavier feel.

3. Pick Your Colors

The color of your polo shirt is important, especially if you’re using it for branding or a specific event. Choose colors that align with your brand identity or theme, while also considering the visual impact of your design.

  • Classic Colors: Navy, black, and white are timeless options that work well in both casual and formal settings.
  • Bold Colors: Make a statement with bright colors like red, royal blue, or green, perfect for attention-grabbing designs.
  • Two-Tone Designs: Consider contrasting colors between the collar, sleeves, and body of the shirt for a stylish and unique look.

5. Choose the Best Customization Method

There are different methods available for adding custom designs to polo shirts. Each method has its pros and cons, and your choice will depend on the complexity of the design, the number of shirts, and the desired finish.

  • Embroidery: One of the most popular options for polo shirts, embroidery gives a textured, premium look. Ideal for logos and smaller designs.
  • Screen Printing: Best for larger orders, screen printing is durable and works well for simple designs with bold colors.
  • Heat Transfer: A good option for smaller runs or detailed designs, heat transfer uses heat to apply a vinyl design to the fabric.

  • Wash Inside Out: Protect the design by turning the shirt inside out before washing.
  • Use Gentle Detergents: Avoid harsh chemicals that could damage the fabric or design.
  • Cold Water Wash: Washing in cold water helps preserve the shirt’s colors and prevent shrinking.
  • Air Dry or Low Heat: Avoid high heat when drying, as it can shrink the fabric or damage the design. Air drying is best to preserve the longevity of the shirt.
